8th graders are actually pretty nice. i remember when i was in 6th grade (thats when our middle school starts) and the 8th graders were so big and intimidating, but really, they're nice. they may laugh a bit at how little you know about the school, etc., but once you find your way around and memorize ur locker combo, they'll be really really nice.

Nah. Don't listen to that nonsence. If you don't give the bullies a reason, they won't bother you. Some people like to pick at them, and maybe take a beating. But you seem like a nice girl. Nothing should happen to you. Not like all 8th graders are like that. Some people are just full of themselves.
And have fun in 7th grade!

Hun. I was there. I was a 7th grader and a 8th grader not to long ago. Trust me I was never mean to 7th graders and the 8th graders weren't mean to me. Just dont be rude to them and they won't to you. Some of them might even be your friend. Try just to stay with 7th graders at first though. It is only hard for the 1st day then you have sooo much fun! GOOD LUCK!!!

I'm an eighth grader - I don't try to ruin the 7th grader's lives. If the 8th graders there do, just ignore them or try to be nice to them...they'll hate that. Besides, everybody has to be the victim eventually. You'll get through it.

ya i heard the same thing, and its not true. Don't worry . When i was in 7th grade, the 8th graders did not bother someone who is smaller. At least not in my school. You'll be fine:)

Nah when I was in 8th grade nothing happened to the younger kids. We are waiting for graduation and passing tests. To be honest 8th graders pretty much ignore lowerclass men unless you pick a fight.

hey i am an eigth grader heres some advice dont worry about it the worst they will do is point and laugh and that isn't that bad and hey maybe on of the eigth graders will like you then you get some cool new older friends and before you know it your the one in eigth grade helping a nervous 7th grader out

Lol they are nothing to be afraid of. when i was in 8th grade, i didnt have a single friend that was mean to 7th graders. not to be mean, but we didnt really care. so dont worry. have a good year!

i was in 8th grade last year and we didnt really car about the 7th graders we were nice to them but we ddint go out of our way to do something for them

The thing is that the more impressed you are about the older ones... the more they will pick on you.
People are generally good. Just try to fit in the crowd.
Try making friends with people of your age. Everything will be fine, I'm sure.
