Although it seems your due date should be based on when you conceived (usually 2 weeks after your LMP), docs still say that since the date of conception is unknown, they go with what they DO know (your LMP). There are several due date calendars that you can find online, using different formulas, but your doc will always go with the LMP, unless they do an ultrasound that varies drastically from your LMP.

The time the doctor give you about how pregnant you are is only an estimate based on the information you supply and clues the fetus gives like size, shape, level of development. Fetus are like all other children so are ahead and some are behind and some are right on the guideline.

if your LMP was nov. 4th 05 then you would have conceived Nov. 18th 05. Which would put your due date at 8/25 according to the thingy I just used.... you can do an online search.. type " due date calculator" in to the search bar.

That sounds about right. Your baby should have been here by now. i was due on the 24th and nothing's happened yet so I'm scheduled for an induction tomorrow
