well you kinda just described me.
i have highlights with like 3 colors.
dark brown
light brown
blond
my hair is cut in layers and i straighten it out every morning. my hair is about to my mid back
i like it. it gives you kind of a conservative and classic look plus all the colors make your eyes stand out.

Try a dark brown hair color or a light brown. That should bring out your eye color.
