I do know that everything happens in minds..why should people blame or overload the heart of which we know it only carries or pumps blood? How does one say that you are in my heart, instead of minds?

"Loving", per se, is an emotion. All emotions begin in the brain........we think first, then feel second: I see you pointing a gun at me- - -my mind registers that you could end my life in a second and that scares me..............while our heart feels "heartache" (which is actually caused by a type of acid that the body produces when we go through emotionally trying events), We "love" in our mind...............we call "the heart" that which is our deepest part emotionally......but it is a figure of speech.

Well the heart is what loves. Our mind remembers to love the person we keep in our hearts. When we see someone and our heart skips a beat, it is because the heart and mind work as one. Kind of like saying you make me whole. We see the person and our mind triggers an emotion in our heart. At least that is how I see it.

If I remember correctly from my Ancient Egyptian class the Ancient Egyptians had the idea that one thought with his heart. I don't know what purpose they attributed the brain to but since they picked it out through the nostrils when they wanted to mummify a corpse perhaps they thought it was rubbish. It is hard to isolate all of these things. I believe that emotions of love are just biochemistry. The feeling of being in love is thought that of seretonin and the pleasure neurotransmitter of dopamine. Why do we attribute the instrument used for pumping blood with love and truth is a mystery and I hope that one of your readers will elucidate this query

in your heart is love , In your mind is thinking about you , dreaming about you. Over loading the heart with love is a good thing. some people even say my heart only beats for you, meaning I would die with out you.
