It is just a pinch, I just got them pierced about a month ago, here is exacly what they do.....
1)They squeeze your ears to see if you can get them pierced.
2) They ask you to choose what earrings you want to have.
3) They put acohal on your ears, it will feel cold.
4) They use this kind of marker to mark where they are going to pierce your ears.
5)Take a good and big breath, they will count to 3 and....
6) you are done! They will give you medicine to clean your ears every night, so they won't get infected, oh, and don't forget, turn them with CLEAN hands!
7) in 6 weeks, you can change them!!!

do you mean the top?? if you do it hurts if yuo get it done with a gun and it will bother yu for a few years after to sleep on this is because with a gun they shoot thourgh the skin and break it...if you go to a professional tattoo and piercing place ( i recommend) then they use a hollowed out needle with just removes that entire piece of skin and cartlidge..and it will not ever hurt again except a tiny bit when they do it...

Moderate but it will pass away in two seconds.Good luck and here is a tip if you have white skin choose silver earrings if you have dark skin choose gold earrings.

it only hurts 4 a sec if u get it donr on the bottom, but on the top it hurts 4 awhile

just for a split second than it goes away mine got really hot for a while but no pain just ice it.

Doesn't matter it can get infected and there is a large change your face will swell up.
