She has tried all of the wrap around grips and pull-over grips and they do not work. Is there a tacky/sticky grip or powder that will work?

Get a rosin bag or use powder during changeovers.
A rosin bag is about $3.50:

Here are some products that might help:

I sweat a lot, and I've played a lot in some hot, humid places - Florida for instance. What I started doing was to use multiple rackets and tourna grip. Switch rackets every few games, even if it's just between 2 rackets, and while you're playing with one the other is actually drying off. I also used to re-wrap with new tourna grip during change overs, but you friend may not need to do that unless it's pretty hot and humid.

The other benefit of this is that your rackets are all going to play at the same tension, so when you pop a string your not switching to a racket thats playing 3 or 5 pounds tighter.

She might want to try some Dry Grip. It is available from Tennis Warehouse, http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/descpageACPYTHON-DRYG.html

Described as a product that solves the problem of wet
hands and the resulting slippery grip problems. DRY GRIP is a blend of an anti-perspirant, water repellant and tackifier all in one easy to apply cream. It leaves no residue on your hands, grip, or clothing.

Good luck!

She could have a towel by the back fence so she can wipe her hands down between points.

There is also grip powders she could purchase but I don't prefer the extra substance on my grip.

Have her buy "Tourna grip" it has a sticky side and a smoother side, have her use the sticky side. (There are tennis grips that advertise extra sweat absorption as well, just not as sticky) The one setback is that tourna grip does not that last that long. That and a towel to use between points is probably the cheapest and easiest.

Good luck!

As you have already discovered, there is no amount of tacky powder, sticky grips, or glove that will stop the racquet from turning in your hand when you hit off-center.

Similarly, there is no one in the world who is strong enough to apply enough hand pressure to stop the racquet from turning in his/her hand when he/she hits off-center.

No, the only real cure is to hit on-center, on the so-called Sweet Spot. And, to do this you need to learn proper technique from a qualified Tennis Instructor.

Just take a look at good tennis players. You'll see they don't use these aids because they always meet the ball on the Sweet Spot.

Besides all the chemicals and grips, one of the easiest and cheapest ways is to remove your hand from your grip in between every point so your hand has a chance to breathe and dry. In fact, the top players only hold their racket during the swing and will relax their hitting hand in between EVERY shot, even within a rally.

When it gets humid, I use the Wilson H2Over Grip, its very dry and durable. And its very very thin, so , its good. Does your partner use a towel once in a while to keep the sweat from her arm going to her hands? maybe a wrist band?

what your partner needs to do is go to Dick's Sporting Goods and get some sweat prof grips. they work great and even some of the best pros use them. i use to and they work great. only thing is you have to replace them after every two weeks or so, it all depends on how much you use them. you can also try a mighty grip.

Towel off between each point. It will keep your grip dry and keep you from rushing.

there are 2 things, but only for changeovers
1) get a towel
2) get a rosin (or chalk powder) ball (it is for bowlers, but it will work for what your friend needs it for
