You have to take the civil test it is a 4 to 6 hour test. It is not that hard. Usually held in a big city. Call the city you live in and ask where you take the test for your area. Oh and if you get the job try to be nicer than the dmv people. ; )

If you have to ask instead of using the initiative to get the applications and take the TESTS yourself, then you probably will fail the tests and not get a job at the post office. Go back to being a HO and selling Crack.

You have to take a test and I think it's on what they're calling for, what spots are available. Test and app are a good start even if you have to wait. Assuming you really want to do that.
