Don't spend too much time worrying about people who were never truly your friend to begin with. You should look at someone's heart, not what others think (Sounds like that is what you have done:)) Just be strong and know that what others think of you does not define who you are...does that make sense?
I spent too much of my life worrying about what other people thought...wanting other people to like me. It is not worth it. Just take those who are true friends and let the rest get lost!

If you are a true fiend what ever that person is like it should not matter. One thing people need to understad is that just because people are a certain way it does not mean that the rest of the people that hang out with them are not the same. Those who do not hang out with you because of who you talk to are not your friends. They should want to hang out with you because you are fun to be aroun not because of who you talk to.

WELL, I USED TO HAVE A FRIEND LIKE THAT TOO. HER REPUTATION WAS, AND STILL IS HORRIBLE. HOWEVER, I TRIED FOR YEARS TO BE FRIENDS WITH HER, HOPING TO LEAD BY EXAMPLE AND TO SHOW HER THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE UN-LADY LIKE OR SLUTTY JUST TO GET ATTENTION. THIS WENT ON FOR YEARS AND EVENTUALLY BECAME A PROBLEM FOR THE FRIENDSHIP BECAUSE IT TURNED INTO "GUILTY BY ASSOCIATION" FOR LACK OF BETTER TERMS. SO, I WOULD STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT YOU RE-EVALUATE THE TERMS OF THE FRIENDSHIP AND AS LONG AS IT ISN''T DAMAGING TO YOUR REPUTATION, THEN CONTINUE TO BE THERE FOR HER.

MY SITUATION WAS JUST A BIT DIFFERENT BECAUSE SHE THOUGHT THAT BY PUTTING ME DOWN FOR BEING DIFFERENT FROM HER WAS CUTE, AND IT CLEARLY ISN'T, SO I HAD TO SEVER ALL TIES WITH HER AND THAT WAS A MOVE THAT I DON'T REGRET AT ALL. GOOD LUCK...
