2) Kurt Russell...oops, my mistake. My first guess on this would have been James Arness but I was thinking you meant The Thing from 1978. Kurt Russell was in that one and played Wyatt Earp also. But James Arness was in The Thing from Another World, so my FINAL answer is James Arness.
