I have spent a lot of my life visiting and staying in Dorset, my mum and brother both live there now. There is no definite place to live in Dorset, it is all a lovely county. You have the night life of Bournemouth, and Weymouth, the peace and tranquillity of every over village in the county. And the breath taking scenery of Portland and chesil etc etc etc etc. With 200k i don't think you will be pushed for property, my bro has just recently bought a property in verwood, the choices are endless. Fancy a lodger ? All the best...I'm not really jealous

I stay in Dorset. I moved right here in July, and that i got here from Somerset. Dorset is amazingly high priced, quite interior the smaller villages. Cerne abbas case in point is quite high priced because of the reality it has the vast there. that's a nicer section however, that's greater needed than Somerset and the section customarily is prettier. i think of for you Blandford communicate board, Dorchester, Poole or Bournemouth would be solid places. If money isn't a good number of a project then rather come to Dorset, there are lots of of severe high quality places to take childrens (Sandbanks in Poole, Weymouth, Bournemouth case in point) and that's a greater efficient way of existence. Somerset is severe high quality, yet there some tough places (Yeovil, Bridgwater, Weston great Mare etc) even with the shown fact that that's greater fee-effective and in case you won't have the capacity to arise with the money for Dorset than Somerset is a sturdy 2nd superb.

The best place to live is in the BH14 post code area. I have lived here for some years now. This area is where everyone wants to be. As its great for schools and amenities. I live 7 minutes drive from Bournemouth, poole and just 6 mins drive into sandbanks. The properties are really expensive but it depends on what you want to pay. for a two bed property in this area you are looking at 200k up but the area is a great place to be and easily a car drive, bike ride or bus ride to local areas. from my experiences this is the area to be in and quite profitable should you sell your property in the future? good luck
