You better hope he doesn't have a monitoring system that records what you do. Then it doesn't matter how much you erase he already has the record. There are lots of programs out there for monitoring employees Internet usage, sites visited etc...best thing to do is wait 'til you get home to do personal stuff on the PC. I was the Net. Admin for an electric company in my area before I started my own business. I could see each employees records, how much time on the Internet, where they went, everything.

If you don't want to lose your job, don't be so stingy - get internet and surf at home!
Otherwise find the folder Temporary Internet Files and delete all the Cookies in there. Also go to the Tools menu in yr browser, Internet Options and clear History. You can change that setting not to store any history as well if you want.

It's quite likely that you can't, since a fairly high percentage of employers now say that they monitor computer usage on a regular basis. This could mean that they monitor all of your incoming and outgoing mail messages or they track every website you visit or whatever else they choose to monitor. It is their computer after all, not yours.

You could erase your browser's history, but that's not likely to be enough to save your backside if they're serious about tracking your activities.

Maybe you should spend that time getting your resume up to date. Sounds like you may need it soon.

Erasing your cookies and temp files is going to do absolutely nothing. The network records everything you do in real time and there is no way of getting around it. Your employer can see everything you are doing at the exact moment you are doing it. And it all gets recorded.

If he is already monitoring your PC constantly with a keystroke monitor (which is his legal right) you are already screwed. Erasing won't help then. Sooner or later you will lose your job since your employer thinks of your Internet activity as a waste of the wages he is paying you.

you could erase your whole hard drive and still get busted because if they have software logging your activity it is saved in real time meaning as soon as you go to that site it's logged and you better believe that those log files aren't being saved on your computer. They will be saved on a server with rights for only certian people to access.

You can't erase it if he has a monitering system. My employer even knows when I make a phone call. He came to me oneday and asked was that my home number. You better be careful, they are watching when you don't know it.
