mine name is actually tammy and i used to hate my name and wanna be named tamara, but now tammy has pretty much grown on me...

My name is Melissa. I have always liked it. My Dad always tells me that when I was born he was the one who got to name me. My Mom had named my three older brothers and sisters and didn't give him any say. He chose Melissa for me and I'm thankful everyday. My Mom wanted to name me Emily or Julie, nothing against those names but Melissa is a tad more unique.
