A super-computer tends to be less powerful then your avarage house hold PC, it's not the power behind that makes it super.
The Human Brain can be compaired to a computer tho it could easily not fall under the catagory of computer.
So I would have to say the most powerful computer is locked up in come top sectret area waiting to be sold in parts to the bussiness community. As for what i can do, anything the user wants it to. Like computer currently avaliable.

The world's most powerful computer
When it is completed in late 2004, the world's most powerful computer will be ASCI Purple.
It is expected to carry out 100 trillion operations per second.
A spokesman for IBM, who are building the computer, said ASCI Purple would be nearly as powerful as the human brain.
But some scientists believe our brains can carry out around 10,000 trillion operations per second.
A supercomputer, which can process over 200 trillion operations per second, is expected to be built within the next two years.
It is being built to replace ASCI White - formerly the world's most powerful computer - which occupies a space the size of two basketball courts at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California.

(The human bio-computer, and the spiritual computer that runs the world and the Universe). Since, you are talking about man-made computers only, well, then one of them is the Super-Computer Cray, which has various applications, one of them being Meteorology. Also the servers, search engines, voluminous storage devices, routers and the EPABX systems used by Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, IBM, Cisco, AT & T, etc., are computers which are voluminous and elaborate, quite beyond the comprehension of normal folks. Even the chilling systems, they use in the their halls of data storage machines, are examples worth knowing about. Further discussion, on this topic, is way beyond the scope of this forum.
