Peopla can speak English. Not everyone who uses this site is from America and not everyone speaks English as a 1st language. Cut them some slack.

I don't get it either, which makes me feel old already, and I'm only 26! I've gotten as far as understanding LOL and things of that nature, but the first time I saw 'ppl' I went what?? It's laziness...

i dont always know what people are saying when they talk chat
like lol laugh out loud
or ttyl talk to you later
i just picked them up within the last month or so
if you are unsure of what ppl (people) are saying just ask and u (you) will eventually just underatand it
