My friend in the UK wants to call me and neither one of us know what she should dial to reach me here in the US. The only thing I know to give here is the basic 10 digits of my phone number, can anyone help me out please?

she has to put 001 infront of ur number and if ur number starts with a 0, she has to take it off so it will be 001 then ur 9 digit number

I am from the us. And i live here.. so if they dial 001 then the area code and number then they will get you. if you call them 011 44 there code and number.
It is not that hard but they might want to get an internation plan to call you. It can be expensive.

I am truely amazed of an almost intelligent person who can go on yahoo and post this silly question but cannot simply call the USA international directory or even go on google to get this simple silly question answered. Things people ask for goodness sake.

First dial the US country code = "011" and then that ten digit number.

Why is everyone wanting to use Skype ? and pay for using their Telephone ... Ever heard of Windows Live Messenger or Yahoo Messenger ? Speak + See your friend for free get a webcam..

If she has an internet broadband account and you have as well, why not both of you set up a Skype account (go to www.skype.com), free to install and set up and you can chat for free as long as like. You do need to have have a microphone and speakers on your computer or use an external one plugged into USB port.

Either you need the international dialihg code for the Uk, or they need the code for the States.

It should be easy enough for you to find them out online.
