My last period was august 1st. We had sex aug. 13-17. My next period is due the 30th. They always come on time, today I have very very light spotting and no cramps. I have been nauseous the past week or so, my breasts are killing me, and I feel generally ran down. I know it's early to test, but this isn't normal of my period. I don't get sore breats, and I always have BAD cramps. This just doens't feel normal to me. What do you think?

I actually went to the dr here, and the one thing she did not do was test for pregnancy, because I just had a period. She did the usual pap smear & blood work and everything was normal. No infections, nothing, but I I just know that my body doesn't feel normal right now.

It's possible. You could be having what they call implantation bleeding. The Dr probably didn't run a test because it more than likely would have been negative anyway.

Give it a few more days (about the 26th) and go get a VERY sensitive pregnancy test, one that says that it can detect 25 mIU like Clearblue, First Response, or the Walgreens Digital.

Well, you could very well be pregnant. Sounds like a yes to me. It is extremely common for a woman to have spotting 7-10 days after conception when the egg implants itself to the uterus wall. I never did, but my best friend did. Plus, I've read it everywhere. Your symptoms are identical to pregnancy, so if there are no infections or anything....Congrats! If your period is always exact, buy a 1st response 5 days sooner test and take it first pee of the day on Aug. 27th. If it reads neg. wait at least 2 days. In early pregnancy your hormone (HCG) levels double. If there isn't enough the 27th, there may be enough the 29th. Although using a 5 day sooner test and the box says anytime of day is fine, you should use the first pee since you could have concieved on the 17th and it usually takes at least 12 days for the HCG to be present. Good luck, God Bless and let us know!!!

Ali, I hope whatever the results you want, IS what you get. As a woman who has had symptoms and results with positive and negative outcomes, my advise is to take it easy on yourself and study what you can so the waiting to test does not drive you crazy.

Nice resources for chatting whether Trying to Conceive or any range around child bearing, check out "babycenter.com".

Other possibilities you could be experiencing given the calendar is PMS, which sometimes can present similar to pregnancy.

If you are around 34 or so, you might also read up on PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), not that this is a disorder of those around 30 something-- just that the hormonal disorders and symptom often seem to start to multiply then.

Best wishes for your health and happiness!

I'd take a home test and/or go to your OB/GYN for an examination and/or confirmation. Other things can be going on for you to miss a period. Stress can make you miss a period. As you get older periods change. Where you may go three days and not hurt you may go 7 days and hurt like heck. Don't jump to the automatic conclusion...find out for sure because if you are pregnant then you have a little one that needs to be taken care of from now until they get hormonal.

Could be yes, could be no. Your symptoms don't say necessarily about pregnancy. Don't guess, make a home test, buy the "early results" one, where they indicate you can know results up to 5 days before your missing periods. And don't worry, you may feel nauseous just because you worry and think about it all the time.

You could be. It looks like you asked this question 2 weeks ago. Test again. It's been 2 weeks since you last thought you were pregnant so your test should come back positive by now.

Edit: Even though she said don't test, just buy a test so you know for sure instead of guessing on here.

Go and get the early response test. If you read them they are accurate even up to 4 or 5 days before your missed period. Buy a pack with 2 cuz if + u will want to '"make sure".

A women's body goes through a hormone change every 2 years so your body may just be doing just that...going through a change or yes it is possible that you are pregnant (that was probably the week of ovulation). Either way, everyone else is right, take a breath and just relax. Take the test next week!

If your doctor didn't test for pregnancy, then you should have brought it up.

Either go back and see your doctor again - or call a different one.

No one on yahoo answers has ESP - and all everyone can do is just guess.

The only way to confirm pregnant/not pregnant - is by a doctor.
