A kick in the nuts, while terrible, only lasts a little while and then you're generally ok again. Bush has lasted for 6 out of 8 years and the damage he's done to this country will last for decades more. I think it's pretty plain which is worse.

The kick, definitely. Bush may not be the best President we've ever had, but we should reserve historical judgments for after he leaves office; at any rate, he's doing a good job, I think, judging from the sound economy and the fact that we haven't had a terrorist attack in the last five years.
And yes, it's good to be reminded of his tax cuts, which have resulted in a larger reduction for the rank-and-file citizen than one would think by listening to the liberal media and politicians, who only seem to care about the poorest people who don't pay taxes anyway.
I confess to being more than a little biased in a personal sense. After all, I was one of the millions who received the first batch of tax rebate checks from that 2001 legislation. And it helped a lot. Thank you, Mr. President.
