Actually you can. Just split the coax 3 ways run 1 into your cablebox, 1 into the back of your Tivo, and one into the output of your TV. Then just with the input from the s-video to the cable in. This is of course assuming your tv can do this. Otherwise the answer that the 2 tuners are busy recording and thus can't tune another channel is the best answer.

Let's not forget that the technology is also limited to how fast it can read and write to its hard drive. When you watch a show, it is temporarily recording that information to the hard drive no matter what, so it would probably be difficult for the system to record three simultaneous broadcasts at once.

not immediately. For twin tuner to right now paintings, you want an analog cable lineup. satellite tv for pc in basic terms does not provide that. the dual tuner sequence 2 in simple terms helps one container of any form at a time. you may manually list the RF out channel on a 2d Dish container/tuner, and manually replace channeels on the container or set timers on it and the DVR.

Cause you only have 2 tuners. So if you are recording two, both tuners are being used for that purpose. You can watch something off of your list while two are recording though.

I actually did that (above) but then I realized that there was programming that I had already recorded that I could watch.
Too much TV and not enough time.
