1) Exercise...lift weights. The type of exercise you do is important. For building muscle, you should do short repititions (like 3 sets of 8-10) for each excersize and use an amount of weight that you can do for that many reps but if you can do more than 12, add more weight. Also, make sure that you're eating enough good, healthy food for your body to support itself and add additional muscle. Good luck to you!

You have to absolutly kill it in the gym. I mean go to failure each time. Do lower reps but heavier weight. You should be at a rep range of 6 8 or at most 10. If you aren't at failure by 10, increase the weight. Talk to a trainer at your gym who can help show you some really good mass building exercises.

make sure to EAT, EAT, EAT. Depending on if you are a person who is an easier gainer or hard gainer you will have to adjust your calories, but i know natural body builders who eat between 4500 to 5000 calories each day just to put on size. Your protein should be around 175-250 g, carbs should be around 550 g and fat should be around 80. The book that i have says that to get those numbers you should be eating around 3700 calories, but like i said, if you are a hard gainer, you need to step all of those numbers up.

Gluamine can be very good to keep muscle mass. Also, a good multivitamin supplement is very important too to maintain the vitmains and minerals that your body needs in order to grow. A really good supplement i have seen work with a lot of bodybuilders (it's convienient too) is called Vibe. It's got a bunch of good vitamins, minerals and antioxidants and in liquid form so it is 99% aborbable and gets to the cells right away.

I have seen a lot of bodybuilders who i've worked with who have tried for a long time to put on muscle see more lean muscle gains after just changing to this one supplement. A lot of guys also really like it since they don't have to swallow all those horse pills.

Good luck!

First off, eat mostly protein. Limit your carbs. This will help build muscle. Then go to the gym and pump iron.
