Well, it varies for everyone, but my baby is 4 months old and her eyes have changed from blue-grey to very obvious blue. I have read that the eye color can still change up to one year.
Just a funny tidbit: My eyes were blue until I hit puberty, then they turned green! Go figure.

My daughters eyes just changed colour in the last year. She is going to be 6 in September. I have also heard of children changing up until 9/10 years of age. So these people that are saying 6 months, 18 months don't know what they are talking about. My answer to you is, this varies greatly. I suppose there are some kids that change will an infant and stay that colour but it can be many years later as well.

I'd say average is about 6 months. My blue eyed girl had very clear blue eyes by the time she was about 2 months old, and my 3 month old baby's eyes are still changing, so I think she'll have brown or green eyes. I have heard it can take up to 2 years to have the color be set in stone.

Typically by 6 months, read on for more details.
When a baby is first born, the eye still has not fully developed a dark pigment known as melanin that helps “color” eyes and skin. Blue or gray eyes (which many Caucasian babies have at birth) in a newborn mean that melanin is virtually absent within the eye’s colored portion (iris).
When your baby is about six months old, you’ll have a better idea of eye color as pigmentation begins to form and brown or darker eyes might appear. The baby’s eye color should be determined by about age one, although some individuals may experience eye color changes through adulthood.

I actual have heard that the colour they have at one 365 days is oftentimes the colour they'll keep. I actual have also heard that maximum replace by using 6 months. i have also heard a some situations the position they replaced at 3 years. i imagine that's unusual although. My daughter changed into born with blue eyes. round 2 months old they began turning a lighter blue, initiating around the student and dealing that's way outward. She is pretty a lot 5 months and her eyes are quite slightly all mild blue. So quite!

It can take anywhere from 6 to 24 months. When I was a baby I had sky blue eyes, at 4 yrs they turned gray and then when I was about 13 they turned hazel. Now it just depends what I wear as to if they are blue or green. Typically before they are 2.

It varies from child to child, doctor's will tell you about 2 months old is the average age. Then there are kids like my oldest who had blue eyes until he was 4 yrs old and they they changed to green. So you really never know for sure.

First comment is not true. It can take up to 6 months. I've heard of even a year. My son's eyes turned green at 9 1/2 months. God Bless.
