I think it is all about personal preference and not racist at all unless you go around and if a person approaches you to date you say horrible things in a racist manner like call them inappropriate names. Most of the people in the world are attracted to those who are similar. That is just the way it is- then there are some who find the whole rainbow thing attractive, that is fine. it cannot be considered racism to just prefer a certain race to date.

heck- I am mixed. I prefer to date black men but have found VERY attractive me in all races! Especially Brazilian men! and white guys with real nice tans!

No that's not racist, just a personal preference. It has nothing to do with LIKING or NOT LIKING a person, just finding them attractive. This is the same as preferring someone who is tall or short or thin or a certain color of hair or eyes.

Personally, I like men who are very tall. I also prefer men who don't have tons of chest hair. And I don't generally find South Asian men very attractive. But I do have friends who are short, hairy, and from that part of the world. (OK, not all three at the same time, necessarily!) I just don't find that they are my "type" or feel attracted to them in anything more than a platonic way.

So, no, it's not racist.

I don't think it's racist not to like men of a particular race, I think we all have our own personal preferences when it comes to attraction, however, if you don't find the man attractive BECAUSE OF HIS RACE...that is a different story by itself....then I would have to say yes it is racist.

I don't think so, as long as all you're looking at is their features. Some races do tend to have certain features that may not be attractive to everyone. Now, if you don't find them attractive because they're that race, you've got problems.

I don't think so. What I think is racist is when people of a certain race get pissed off because other races want to date them. For example...why do black women get soooo angry when white/asian/mexican/whatever women date black men? Give me a break.

no it is not considered racist. Certain men / women of different races possess different features. Perhaps it is that feature that is not attractive to you. Just like some individuals with blue eyes only want to marry someone with blues eyes.
Racisism is someone who hates. Just because they they are not atacted to someone else does not mean they hate them.

No, It's selective breeding. But I believe preventing yourself from falling in love with someone purposely simply due to race, is racist.

Not racist at all. If you're not physically attracted to a certain race/s, then you're not attracted to a race/s. You can love them as people, as one soul loves another, but you don't to be physically attracted to them. Different strokes for different folks.

No, it's not racist. Some people don't like blondes, some don't like green eyes, some don't like skinny, and some don't like dark skin. The definition of racism is differentiating between races using generalities (like "all white people are rich") and then making a judgement based on it.

I agree, it's only a prefrence to what you like. If you hate the race as a whole then that's when your being a racist.
