Absolutely. People are always primping and posturing and putting on a show even when there's no one to impress. They feel like they have to suck in their gut when they walk down the street. What are they trying to prove, and to whom? People are self-absorbed to the core. They think everyone is looking and so they have to puff up their chests and put on their best faces.

yes, cuz life is all about competing. like in a beauty pageant you need to have the brains, kindness, not really beauty but lifes is a game that you should make and must be planned well for the future

It's either a beauty pageant or a popularity contest. It shouldn't be that way, but popular media tells us we should be popular and beautiful and most people don't have the self confidence to march to their own drum.

If you think about going through all the elimination rounds...yes it is...
My conclusion: The world is definately not a safe place to live in, death can happen at any time...anywhere...
The fear of Death is like the fear of being eliminated from a Beauty contest...specially when the expectations are already high...and you've worked hard to get to your goals...

Yes. Its like that new song "California". Its all about showing what we got. Whether we are riding around Sonic in our parent's 78 Buick Estate Station Wagon or we are at the beach walking around with no shirt flexing the plex! Its all about curves and being soft and hard in all the right spots to get noticed..or to get that job...or to get this or that money. Its all about what you got and what you look like. Why do you think they call it hooters?

I think that's like saying "life is one big popularity contest." If you believe that life is all about popularity and how high up you are, you have a lot of rethinking to do...
