If you're already having regular contractions and dilating I would say you're going to go into labor soon. If the contractions aren't regular, all you should do is be patient. The baby's brain develops every DAY especially at the end of pregnancy. Why would you want to cut his or her brain development short by going into labor earlier than your body intends you to? You've already made it 9 months, a few more days (or weeks) isn't that big of a deal. Be patient, for your BABY'S SAKE.

Start walking. While I was dialated to a one it took forever to hit full on labor. Make sure you have someone walk with you. I also did stair stepping at the gym .... that lasted a whole 5 minutes. Man it is tiring. Excercise in moderation is the best. Make sure you ok it with your doctor first.

Not a licensed doctor (or a woman for that matter) but I believe you have to be 10 cm dilated to perform a safe birth and the contractions have to be within' a short time of each other, Not days or whatever. I'd say to be safe... more time... Call your doctor...

well what happened to me was, i was induce for labor, my friends came in and we told stories of the old days and etc, i did alot of laughing and i was 4cm dilated an hour later i was fully dialated. so i dont know if laughing helps you relax and your muscle relax and expand , thats what worked for me though
