i answered a question like this earlier. i read an interview with jason culina and another with brett emerton, and it was about juggling. they both said that it helps with your first touch and ball control. hopefully you know what juggling is...

Play in five-a-side game using 'two touch' football. Each player may touch the ball only twice before releasing. It makes each player concentrate when they receive the ball and think ahead to what their second touch / pass is going to be.
I have used this with juniors for years and they soon get the hang of it and improve.

Try getting someone to pass the ball to you along the ground fiercely and see how well you can control it. If you keep doing this your touch should get beter. Or you could kick the ball high into the air and try to control it is it comes back down. And don't just use your feet, use your thighs, chest and head too!

As a coach i would recommend walley repetative touches of the ball as it rebounds of a wall

Just practice until the ball does whatever you want it to do. Sounds silly, but is the truth.
