To teach my child to care about the way she looks, so that she won't grow up thinking that she can dress like a slob and get somewhere in life.

So they don't look like hobos. Mind you my daughter loves to wear pretty clothes and get all dolled up. When my kids are out playing they just wear whatever, but when it comes to going to school and events, I want them to look their best, how your children look reflects the parent.

I don't have kids, but if I did, I would so they would learn to take pride in their appearance. I know it's what's inside that counts, but the world will look further into that if the package is nice too. I would never allow my kids to become lazy, fat, or slobs.

Beacuse Its not about who you are on the inside that counts. Its about what you look like. What kind of bad parent would waste time on character and morals when they could be making their children look good? Its vital that kids learn this lesson, 'the better you look, the better your life'.

Because you want them to have the best image possible, you want them to have good friends, get good grades,be confident,high self esteem, and so on. Your kids will feel better if they look better because they wont get teased about looking like a slob.

well i dress my self but if i had a kid i wiuld dress her pretty so they would ot get made fun off

because ur kids reflect who u are wen ur not with them they represent you so if they look good u look good and people respect u for that!!!
