can't find a freind?

a freind of mine sent me her yahoo name and i can't look it up

why would you want to look it up. Just e-mail her. Then see if she replies. If you get no response, call her. After all she is your friend so chances are you have her number. If you don't maybe it's a bogus address. It all depends on how well you know her.
