miratic acid is a preferred method for cleaning concrete label directions will probably have you dilute the acid to somewhere around 20% solution. I would try 1/2 the strength that is recommended first to reduce any turf damage if turf is present

Pure bleach will remove the green mouldy buildup.
Just pour it on pure where the green part is...you will see the difference in a few minutes. Once that has gone, you could brush down the patio with a mixture of 1 part bleach to 5 parts water, and add any scented floor cleaning liquid, so the bleach smell isn't too strong... Do this with old clothes on, because the bleach splashes will discolour whatever you are wearing...(including your shoes).

Sometimes you need a power washer to get that stuff off. Or, is that what you mean by "water jets"? First I would try puddling some bleach water on it; if that doesn't work, rent a power washer. (or paint the patio green)

Power brush idea is good, but I would also suggest diluting a bit of bleach in warm water and just dumping it on the cement first. Just let it sit for a while before renting anything.

you may desire to apply a capacity-washing device, in case you have one. different than that, you need to use a tarp over the grass on the brink of the cement and use a fungi/weed killer product. you may get a capacity-washing device at Lowe's or homestead Depot.

You will probably need a power brush to clean it. You can rent them at hardware stores.
