up-in-arms and people are saying that they are going to boycott his movies about a couple of drunken statements that Mel Gibson made, but Woody Allen who married his DAUGHTER is still working and no one says ANYTHING- that I've heard, anyway.

Don't worry. This will also pass. There are many more celebrities out there that will do stupid things and then the attention will be on them.

Grin. I remember that. It happened in 1992, and people were indeed up in arms about it then. It just happened so long ago that most folks have forgotten it...if they ever knew. And it was Mia Farrows adopted daughter, Soon-Yi Previns he married. No blood relation to Woody at all.

Big age difference, Woody was 57, and Soon-Li was 22 but they have adopted two daughters, and as far as I know are happy.

About Mel Gibson, he is current gossip and people tend to believe that drunk people tell the absolute truth. Because they are drunk, they just don't care, and so they tell everything in their minds.

Thus, according to that logic, Mel Gibson truly meant every drunken word he spat out that night.

And our celebs are not supposed have thoughts like that.
