Where did I say that the tattoo was mine? People should truly read the questions. I need to counsel a young person on the consequences of tattoing.

I have a friend that had a tattoo removed and she said that it was very painful. She compared the procedure to being repeatedly snapped with a rubber band at high speed. She also said that you can actually smell burnt flesh during the procedure. Also, the ink was not totally removed (probably about 90%)

It's possible. the cost varies on the same things that it varied for the tattoo, such as: location, size, color of ink, penetration of needle. It is three-four times as expensive as the tattoo itself was. ... You may also have to sit through several sessions. ti get it fully removes & the pain is WAYYY worse than getting it. ... Good luck.

p.s. try to see if you can have a cover up first.

I began having a tattoo removed on my ring finger. And the laser is QUITE painful! Much more painful than getting the tattoo itself. and it cost $250.00 a laser. ouch! think twice before getting a tattoo!

My dad had his removed, and it wasn't super painful, but didn't totally get rid of it, he still has dots of blue. I'm not sure how much it costs, but it's on the expensive side.
