First of all the key to the splits is STRETCHING. Blah Blah Blah, right? It is but u have 2 do the right stretches. Start doing your regular stretching, and dont bounce, find the place where its tollerable, and just sit there. Pretty soon you will be able to stretch farther down....hold it there. Keep repeating this. You can stretch all the time too. Watching tv, do it siting on the floor, stretching. And here is a really good stretch that I promise if done correctly, you will have your splits in 24 days. Sit on the floor with your legs out in front of u in a vee. Pull your right foot into your knee, rotate and sit to your right, so it looks like your in your splits with your front leg bent in front of you. This is much easier to sit and hold than the actual splits. It also stretches both the top and the underside of your theigh at the same time. This will also make sure that your back leg is in the proper position. Upper theigh, knee, shin, top of foot, and toes all touching the floor and are straight back from butt. Make sure to point your toes (big key) pointing your toes (both of them) pulls you down farther as well. Sit like this for as long as possible. Sitting up as straight as you can. Then lay your chest and head down across your bent leg. keeping your body as straight as possible. Sit that way as long as you can, then start over, back to step one and use your left leg as your front leg. This stretch stretches every muscle in your legs. That is why it is important to do it right and left and remember to point your toes. You will never get your splits flat without your toes pointed. Also butterfly stretches. (sitting on your bum, bend both legs in and touch your feet together so your lap makes a diamond. Then pull your feet in letting your knees come up a little, but trying to keep them as flat as possible at the same time. HOLD IT, then lay your chest across your feet, like your trying to touch you nose to the floor. HOLD IT as long as tollerable. If you keep rotating these stretches (all the time) like when watching tv, or doing homework, chatting, whenever, you will soon sit flat in your regular splits without effort or pain and you wont have a pulled muscle that could ruin whatever goal it is that happens in 24 days. I know my discriptions suck I hope these make sense. I was a dancer and gymnast, and cheerleader for years and my daughter is now as well. Good Luck

wut u need to do to get ur splitz is yes go and lay on ur bak beside a wall and ur legs are facing the wall, so ur butt is against the wall and then put ur legs up on the wall and go the splitz like that pull ur legs apart until it hurts and then just hold it there for however long u want to, thats wut i did and i now can do the splitz very well and about the 24 days i think if u really worked hard u could get it within 24 days so yeah and always remember no pain no gain Good Luck!!!
