News from Earth: As per the decision taken by the Intergalactic Astronomical Union in its meeting on the Sun, Earth has been able to retain its status as a planet. But Pluto has been stripped of its status as a planet. So, now officially there are only eight planets in the solar system. Visitors from Pluto are advised to adjust their news memory.

Well, size is a pretty useless way of determining a planet especially since there are asteroids about as large as Pluto. In fact, astronomers believe that Pluto was a moon of Neptune and interacted with Neptune's moon Triton and was flung out of orbit. This explains its unusually elliptical orbit and why Triton orbits the other way.

hello pluto!! yes earth is still a planet - but only just! we're going to be evacuated to Mars soon though as we're getting bored.. some of us may even come to Pluto... if there's room?
