Movies, music, religious speeches, all sorts of things can contribute to leading astray an already weak mind. If someone is easily swayed by the ideas of others or the visual themes from movies, then yes I suppose in a small way in can be responsible for causing a reaction. That said, I think an individual who is going to be violent has a violent nature regardless of outside factors. An outside factor can only further rationalize the ideas and feelings inside an abnormal persons thought patterns and therefore cannot really be blamed. People choose music and movies because they speak to them on one level or another. They feed your nature not change it.

No, just like the second person to answer said though, just gives them ideas.

Apparently, in Louisiana (don't quote me on that though), they tried to pass a law banning the sale of violent video games to people under 18. The judge stopped it though.

Psychologists these days, they overreact, tell the media, the media makes it ten times worse sounding, parents get worried, stupid things happen.

???????????????????

WTF?????

EVERYTHING can be contributed to in part by anything else!!! Some people will kill because they do not like Purple. It is crazy, but it CAN happen.

Some people will be violent because they saw it on TV.

Some people will become violent by listening to thrash rock.

Some people will use comics as a catalyst. Or a bad comedian

Someone might even go off the deep end because someone calls them stupid. ALMOST anything can be a trigger. It might be rare, but it can happen.

Of course. People do what they see. Very rarely consider the conseq. Examples: In the movies there are lots of killing by guns - well look at society. Movies, Drugs- look at society. Movies, Sex- look at society. The world is made up of all kinds of people good, bad, weak, strong. Believe me most people are influence by evil because of our nature. Until one excepts God ways in his heart.

For certain individuals I'm sure. Just like specific genres of music or video games can affect some people, I guess it just depends on how easily influenced the individual is.
