I know it would be really hard on you and the boys, but at the same time it would be hard for your husband to take the time off.It wouldn't only take money from your household, but he might have a point system that could effect his job, which would effect your household.I would try to get someone in the family to come and help out just until your husband gets home from work.Like you stated you are talking about a couple days, and there should be some family member or a close friend to you to help in the time of need. This way,you get the help and your husband doesn't complicate anything on his job and you still gain money for your household, that your three boys along with yourself will need.I am sorry to hear about your sprain, hope you heal just fine and quickly.Best wishes and Good Luck!

Other wise get over it. there are worse things that can be wrong with you beside someones got show your sons to be tuff

How long do you think the sole breadwinner of the family can stay home?

One day max, but if its bad enough to justify one day off, it probably won't heal in one day either.

Sorry to hear that.
