How about having enough talent to get one on your own without doing the whole reality thing. Once you are old enough, move to where the music you sing/play is recorded. ( country music is centered in Nashville) Pay your dues by singing at every dive and state fair that you can. Maybe one day you will get noticed and you might get a deal that will last more than one album.

So, you walk into a shop that sells records and you pick one up and say to the person behind the counter, "Hey Buddy. How much is this record?"
They tell you and you make them an offer.
If they accept - hey, congratulations - you have a record deal!

join reality shows. they give you good publicity..a producer might be watching..
