Happiness is an ambiguous kind of a word. If it means euphoria then that will not be possible, because every state of euphoria is mostly followed by dysphoria. If it means 'a state of mental and physical well-being' then that is a possibility, but even in this case every individual has his own problems which make permanent happiness impossible. And even if a person has no problems in life at all, at least he must be concerned about the process of ageing, decline and death. Therefore there is not much hope of perpetual state of happiness.

What I learned from life is that love is the only emotion that never gets boring after a while. All other emotions get boring except love. So yes it is possible to be truly happy in an unrelenting kind of way but you must first feel love and connectedness with your fellow humans on a constant basis. Man woman and child. Modern life makes this very difficult as we are all first economic zombies and then human beings.

Go figure!

I have found that happiness is a state of being. And like all states of being they are brief and a illusions. You can look for things to bring you happiness, but like all things man-made, happiness does not last forever. While we are here on earth, we have work to do for our Father. True happiness occurs when we do what we are sent here to do. This can turn you into a Happiness Junky. The more you do, the more you want to do. It is the best High you will ever have. But be careful you can over do it. Do what you can and let God take care of the rest.

Truly happy with EVERYTHING in life?

Yeah, it's possible. It would also be unhealthy.

You could be happy that you are caring for those less happy though. Doing things that make you happy is always a healthy possibility, but there will always be a sense of remorse.

TO know that you are happy, you have to know what it means to be unhappy.

You could be blissfully ignorant your entire life. Easy take drugs, and go comatose, you would still be alive by many of "life's" standards.

Happyness is brief and intense. You can't expect your body to remain happy at all times, as it would drain you.
