I wanted to report a conman on the internet in an attempt to try and prevent more harm. All the replies I got were mean, catty and immature. I am not from American and I think Americans are petty and mean. Grow up. Why do you think Europeans cannot stand you? We have more class.

Nationality has nothing to do with you not providing the answerers with the whole story. If you provided the whole story with this "con artist", then we could provide you with a better answer. What is the rest of the story?

Not all Americans are mean and nasty, just as I am hoping not all Europeans are callous and crass. I think that there is bad everywhere and to narrow it down to a country is totally wrong. I am an American, but im not any of the things you mentioned.
Also- i think there are plenty of europeans who can stand americans- heck the only way you can tell them apart is when they talk, so i guess it doesnt matter!

I'm responding for the ones that didn't get a chance to see what your question was and apologizing for the ignorance you were subjected to. EVERYONE from America isn't the same and i think you know that. don't let your anger say things and rule your feelings. also to add, if someone wronged you, you have every right to report him. not only are you helping and standing up for yourself, you're also helping the next girl from being hurt and hummulated. you did right and you don't need anyone to tell you that. good luck!

Sorry that happened to you. Many of us have too much time on our hands and not enough tact. I'm a born and raised American from the midwest, and I hate a lot about this country and the people in it. Please don't judge all of us as the same.
