Many of the requirements to enter dental school are the same as for medical school.

You will need to take the following courses at university first:

Baccalaureate coursework must include:
1 year general chem (with lab)
1 year organic chem (with lab)
1 year general biology (with lab)
1 year intro. physics (with lab)
1 year English
1 year calculus
1 semester statistics (stat requirements are not uniform, so check to see if you don't need it, or if you need a full year)

plus one course in public speaking! i don't know why this is required of dentists and no physicians, but just do it at community college and you will have it covered.

There is an entrance exam called the DAT, and it is a computer-based test.

Lastly, do a lot of community service and shadow a dentist for a little bit.

First of all, you need to decide what professional school you want to attend. Look at the required courses that you have to have to get into the program, chances are you need some chemistries, biologies, and some math. Get these classes into your schedule, get your gpa to the highest point possible. Study hard and get involved in extracurricular activities. It is competitive and you need to be able to have your stuff together so that you can also, compete. Best wishes. You have a lot of research to do.
