Amanda. Andi sounds like a nickname or a boys name. I don't much care for Amanda either but, at least there would be no gender confusion.

I really like the name ANDI for a girl because you would naturally think a boys name would be ANDI and i think its always kind of cool/cute when girls are named boys names .. atleast the ones thats are appropriete. Amanda is a nice name but it is kind of old and washed out..everyone is named amanda..

I like Andi. It's more creative. There are tons of girls with the name Amanda. It's getting a little old.

Andi is cool. Today's generation is seeing more creativity with names. The gender barrier is pretty much broken. I also like the name charlie for a girl

Amanda is very good girls name meaning worthy of love or precious thing. (from Latin)
If you chose Andie, that's a girls name that means courageous (French)
Choose a name that will be good for her entire life, not something that is trendy today and odd tomorrow (whatever happened to Moon Unit 5....)
