sister pays weekly...behind 2 weeks..car was repossed..finance company making her pay full balance in order to get car back..is this legal?

Yes it is,,,,,Welcome to Florida,,,,,there's absolutely NOTHING you can do about it,,,,,,((( not to sound harsh,,,but that's a fact,,,,I used to work for a finance company ,repo'ing cars,,,that's just the way it is,,,,no lawyer will even touch it ))),,,,sorry,,,but true

Look in the contract she signed. They will usually spell out the conditions they will reposess the car under, and your recourse after that's happened.

it is legal...but some times you can get cought up and they will work with you...but that is up to each individual institution
and if you don't pay they can take it when they want
