LOL see it's all relative.

If you saw me pull a kitten away from big snarling dog. You would be happy.

If I said I was going to bring the cat home and feed it, you would be even happier.

It would be bad of me not to tell you that I was going to eat the cat. You would still think I was a good person though

Talk to Batman. The Lone Ranger. These heroes wore cowls and masks that made people mistake them for bad people, but in the end they were the hero.

People are similar. We all are human, fallible and no matter how we try to not make mistakes and make bad choices, we do. In the end, though, if we ask for forgiveness, it is granted. We may not always be heroes and save the day, but we are saved from the ultimate consequence.

Christians believe they are saved by asking for this forgiveness from the higher power. I believe other religions have similar repentance sacraments as well.

Life is not black and white. People are not only wholly good or totally bad. That is a major factor to making people unique. The blend of good and bad and all other opposing traits and just where we choose to be on the continuum contribute to our personality makeup. Add in the time factor and that people change from moment to moment and you have a very complex amalgam that makes up a person. They can never be called good or bad. It is more accurate to call specific behaviors good and bad.

Saving a Kitty from a dog is a good behavior. Taking it home and feeding it is a good behavior. Eating it for yourself can be seen as bad BUT...

Consider the dog. Maybe your saving the Kitty was bad for the dog. Maybe feeding the kitty for the purpose of eating a fatter cat is bad and maybe eating the kitty is good because you perpetuated your life for a greater good.

Everything can be seen from either perspective. Both bad and good evaluations are relative.

I constittute myself as being a good person... That does somewhat bad choices in life. Define bad?? Define good?? Define good and bad according to the law?? Define good and bad ethically? Also morally? I believe since I am not hurting anyone, physically and emotionally. That that means I am good. Right? Ok yeah, If I hurt someone that is going to be scared for life or whatever it might be... then I am bad.. right? OK well how about a person that has committed a crime that is bad... according to the law?? or according to the ethical beliefs of a person that is right or wrong? They still can do good. But also It all depends on the situation.
That is my opinion... lol

Yeah. some people do things and others don't neccessarily think they're bad. Some don't think they're bad at all, and others look at things and judge according to the situation. I think my bf's sis is an aweful person...but he doesn't...and neither do all the guys she dates, or her babies daddy's, or her parents. I don't think my mom's a bad person...just at times, and does and says aweful things, but my bf thinks she is. I don't think my uncle is a bad person....just an asshole, who does and says aweful things. It's ALL relative. Just like u said. Some might not even think that u wanting to eat the cat is a bad thing either. I hear phillipinos eat cats. Mmmm.....goooooood!

Sure..... an evil man snatches a kitty away from the dog that will eat it....... only to eat the kitty himself.

But CONSISTENTLY good actions? No.
Some men WERE evil and swore it off but thats about it.
