But...did we really evolve from apes? I've heard two different sides to that story and I still wonder.
About being apes? I would never want to be an ape. Humans have it so much better and I prefer to pick my own fleas, thank you.

nah, although its tempting I think I will pass on that one, I enjoy being human, I enjoy life as a human. Besides Id rather not be food for other animals (even though sometimes I think we arent the highest on the food chain), live out in all the weather and rain... have to actually go and find my food. I enjoy the luxeries of being human although it would be nice to not have to worry about bills and politics, It isnt that I think im more intelligent than an ape or that I consider myself better for being human... because we are all just animals anyway. I just couldnt go without my computer , my microwave, or my television... yes I have a pathetic and lazy existance but I wouldnt have it any other way

Humans are still classified as a form of ape. We're all primates. Read the book The Naked Ape.

There are still some "ape-like" creatures that live among us (usually you don't have to look much farther then down the street!); And, no, I'm glad I'm human...although I would love to be able to communicate with apes, chimps and dolphins!

The answer is no...I prefer being a human, but if I was a chimp I suppose I wouldn't know any better.

WE EVOLVED???? I look around and see no proof of that whatsoever.Example: American Idol, Survivor, etc.
