we would like to keep this car,but would like it fixed.tiptronic means it can be an automatic or standard.the warranty says 100% powertrain coverage. bought it 4 days ago. warranty runs out in 30 days. dealership says it will cost too much to fix, they want to buy back the car.we dont want them to. thanks!

I'd say that you've found a diamond of a dealer, actually. He has learned that the car has serious problems and is willing to eat it in the interest of good will.

My gut tells me that you'll be much happier in the long run if you take the car back.
