yeah thats not supposed to happen. are you sure you dont have a minor infection. and is the peeling on the pubic mound or off the lips. any odor? i would see a different doctor to get a second opinion and get a std panel that includes HPV Herpes and HIV just to be on the safe side. i dont think its a std but as long as you are there you might as well get everything ruled out.

Your not weird, the skin on your area is probably dry and flaky causing the itchness. Stop washing it with regular soap it's too drying. Try using your hair conditioner on you pubic hair in the shower, it'll help moisturize or use Skin Hydrator Anti-Ash Creme (no more peeling) or Regeneration® Extreme Repair Hand Therapy where your pubic hair is only to help the dry flaky skin underneath.
Where to get them, through me at http://www.beautipage.com/Catalog/specialty.asp

wow, how old are you? that used to happen to me when i was probably like 13. you are too young for yeast infections, but you could still get one depending on your attire. what type of underwear do you wear? from your question, i know you are under 15. don't be trying to wear thongs and crap. stick to cotton, because those thongs are irritating your privates. as far as the dry peeling, i always tell my sister, just like you moisturize your hair, you need to make sure that pubic hair isn't dry as well. make sure you apply moisture to it everytime you shower - it should let up. and remember, where cotton dras only.
good luck!

It's possible that your skin is sensitive to a detergent you are using, or a food that you are eating. Try changing your laundry soap to a more mild formula. Also, the flaky skin is just because it is dry. Try putting some lotion on it. Not too close to the opening though...try fragrance free.

It just sounds like you have dry skin, which is causing the itching.

Try switching your soap/body wash. It can irriate more sensative areas such as that. Ivory soap is good because it doens't contain a lot of fragrances.

Maybe it's your soap or whatever you are using there. What about your laundry detergent? Any allergies? Medicine you're taking? Certain foods?
