People have always told me that i'm unattractive...
I moved away for a year, then came back, and everyone (mainly strangers) keeps telling me that i'm pretty, and have a beautiful smile, and keep asking me out. I'm not seeing it...are they making fun of me?

It was peer condemnation. I was told I was ugly growing up and when I moved to New York I became 'the beautiful girl' and even modeled a little bit. The old group was threatened by you for some reason. Believe the new group.

Well, someones look can change dramatically over a course of one year. I know a year ago I wasnt as attractive as I am now. So maybe you just started taking better care of yourself, and that's what made you more attractive. When people dont take care of themselves they arent as attractive.

No baby, people change, You might have been not what they thought of as beauty. Which basically doesn't exist. Anyway, I gues now they think u got it. Enjoy it.
