There are 2 seasons, short winter and long summer. It's referred to as winter because it is a bit cooler but don't get ideas about having snow or rains (that is only in ski dubai at the mall of the emirates where there is all year man-made snow). Winter usually starts in November (as far as my experience here goes) and winds up in early March. Temps go down as low as 14 deg and average would be 25 deg. though there are variances where it can go lower or higher. The coldest month would be January, as per experience and I believe this would be the best time to have a holiday here in time also for the annual Dubai Shopping Festival. Summer months would start April or even as early as March but the really hot months would be July and August where the average temp is high 30s to mid 40s and humidity from 60% up. Usually, during this months, people go on holidays to escape the heat. This is not a good time to come here as the heat can limit the activities one can do.

It is mostly hot during the day time. You can swim even in winter.
Like sauna ( if you have ever been to). Humid.
Autumn and Winter months are the best.
