specifically on a chevrolet tahoe I have a 95 LT and am buying a 97 LS, whats the difference? Is one better than the other?

LS stands for Luxury Sedan and Lt stands for Light truck Options are available on both

the LT is better.

the LS is the base model. the only thing below an LS is a fleet vehicle. but if the LS has the options you want, i wouldnt worry about it.

LS is the base model. LT has all the upgrades you might want. Improve audio systems, tires, interiors, and additional features like sun roofs, tow packages... stuff like that.

LT is supposed to denote a fancier trim package, but after a few years, it's irrelevant - the condition of each vehicle is more important.
