Iraq wouldn't be half the mess it is today without the support from Iran and Syria. Therefore no plan will work unless it deals with those two states. Bring the war home to Tehran and Damascus and watch Iraq settle down almost immediately. Nuke Tehran today and we can start bringing the troops home by Christmas!

Split Iraq into thirds and you will only exacerbate the situation.

The solution is simple. For Iraq and all other countries we are at war with:

Remove all of our military presence from all countries. Bring them back to the USA. Take all the money we are wasting on those countries and spend it on ourself to better our military, close our borders and beef-up our defenses. We have tons of problems within our own country that need to be resolved before trying to fix the whole world. It's sad to know that some of the facilities over in Iraq (that we built) are better than what we have here.

Could you imagine if California and New Mexico were separated and all the New Mexicans were given California and the Californians were stuck in the New Mexico?

Shiites are more pro-American; Sunni are more into a religious government; the kurds are screwed whatever the outcome if the US troops leave similar to how they were screwed in Turkey.

Get rid of George Bush and the Repuglican congress, let them have their little civil war and decide for themselves what kind of government they want. They will never accept a puppet government set up by Bush. Remember this is the middle east and they have been around many times longer then the United States and have managed to survive.

3 different nukes in the Middle East sounds better to me. Why beat around the bush, its going to come to that at some point anyway. Muslim people can not live peaceful with any other people in the long run.

I don't know, but I do know one thing. The Muslums could care less who our president is. I don't think they would be very understanding if we said "We know you don't like our president, so if we get rid of him will you be nice to us?" It doesn't work that way. I like Bush, he is the only one with enough balls to do what needs to be done even though it makes all the hippies cry. I think we need to bring our troops home, and tell them this is their last chance. One more attack anywhere and their country is wiped off the earth. We might have to drive those wimpy hybrid cars after that, but it's a small price to pay.

Ha, are you kidding! They will ALWAYS be fighting over there forever. It will NEVER end, believe me. They all like it too much. This in/out fighting has been going on for decades (and longer than that, really) and the term "peace" in the Middle East is an oxymoron.

I say forget them all... how would we feel if we were having problems and some other damn country came in to take over... It would piss me off... To settle what is happening in Iraq somebody would have to kill the president...
