When you see footage of poeple crossing the border by the thousands and nothing is being done about it I have to ask my self if we are being protected like we should. What good it it to take the war to the terrorists if we won't stop them from sneaking under our border via mexico?

I absolutely agree with you. The problem is that none of the Presidents, Republican or Democrat have taken the problem serously. Every politician give lip service about immigration but in the end, they do nothing to stop it.

There are thousands of women who come over the border just to have their babies so that they are guaranteed Amercan citizenship as well as the American taxpayers end up paying for the delivery. This is a bunch of crap that should have never been allowed to happen, EVER.

If people want to come to this country then they should do so legally. If they don't want to come here legally then we should prevent them from coming at all, regardless of what we have to do.

What Constitution is that in?

I never noticed anything like that obligation when I studied the Constitution. The president takes an oath to"Protect and to preserve the Constitution" There is no mention of defending you.

Is this one of the New Red things???

Go big Red Go

Do any of you understand how our government works? It amazes me how much blame any sitting president takes for things that are out of his control. Congress has the real power to put laws in place and ways to enforce them but they can't stop infighting betweent the libs and cons. But since the cool thing to do is bash Bush, many mindless people do it without any idea what they are saying. Congress approves the budget and the money to go to enforcing these laws. The judges that are appointed (and a majority are liberal) are responsible for raping the Constitution, which they have been for years and the taxpayers keep paying for it. So go ahead, blame Bush for everything from a Hurricane to your toilet being plugged but do me one favor, pick up a f**** book and read about how our government works.

No Bush is a globalist and wants the invasion of Mexicans, he and Fox have some kind of deal, Fox doesn't want the President to do much and he hasn't. You only see a few deported here and their and the rest stay. His oath is to protect and defend. He is not defending our southern border.

He's clearly not, and neither is Congress. Whether it's pandering to business (for cheap labor), the Hispanic vote, or whatever, it ain't right. If we're not going to enforce the immigration laws, why bother to have a border?

The country is split right now he cant get anything pased in congress with out trying to apeaze the liberal azzholes that disagree with anything he does just so that it looks like he cant get anything done. don't think that Bush wouldn't build a wall if he could

To the best he can.

The problem is all the liberal nuts and activist judges tying his hands and preventing him from doing what needs to be done.

And then there's Congress. The role of Congress is to pass the laws the Executive tells to, and not argue about it. If they would just do what they were supposed to, Bush would have the tools to do what need needs to get done.
