I think that I would change the unification of the German people in 1870. Before then the German people were harmless because they were divided into 350 different states. Everything is cause and effect. Every act in nature and human nature is the effect of some previous act and the cause of another act. This started a whole chain of events: The Franco-Prussian War, WWI, Influenza Outbreak, the Russian Revolution and rise of Communism, Inflation in Germany, the rise of the Nazis, WWII, the Holocaust, the State of Israel, Arab Nationism, the Cold War, terrorism today. The point is everything leads to everything else. If only France refused to fight Germany in 1870 than she wouldn't have lost Alsalce-Lorraine. Then she wouln't have wanted revenge and her lost provinces back. This led to WWI. Etc,etc, etc.

I don't think I would change anything. Sure a lot of history was awful but mabye it happened for a reason. Besides if you change something in the past you also change the future.

selfishly, i would change the fact that my mother and brother died when i was 5. other than that, i think things go the way that they go for one reason or another. and honestly as bad as i miss having her around, maybe there was a reason in that too. although in 25 years haven't found a good one yet.

Lunch, it gave me heartburn, change anything bigger and the ramifications could be big enough to wipe out everything, or just ensure your non existence.

I think it would be two minutes ago, when I agreed to help the mole people feed the little red men who dance around on my coffee table eating up all my cookies.
