Optimist till the end?

If stress can do that your structure is flawed. You should build in more rest. You need a flexible attitude to what you (mind and body) need.

If your body tells you to take a rest listen to it.

Keep a positive mind. It doesn't have to be a tragedy if you don't want it to. If it's a structure, you can move around some pieces and make it work according to what you need, the building is never fixed, try to change its elements.

You can't control what stresses influence your life, only how you react to them. If you think you are not acting wisely, just do your best to act differently next time. You may have to try many times before changing your habits, but change will come.

p.s. your best is good enough
